Fresh fish, liver and roe are a well-known dish on the Norwegian dinner table. There is also cod liver oil, and most of our liver goes to the production of cod liver oil and cod liver oil tablets.

The liver is sorted out on the gutting line, and delivered directly to Røst Trandamperi. Here they cook the liver to a liquid form, and then the cod liver oil is ready.

Some of our liver is packaged fresh in styrofoam to fishmongers, and sold as is to customers.
